Tania Busschau

Mybio

Hi, I'm Tania Busschau

I'm an artist living and working in Surrey. My work is inspired by nature and the changing seasons and I draw a lot of inspiration from the Surrey hills and woodlands.

Having studied Fine Art and earning a degree in Art History in South Africa, Art has always been a part of my life. I enjoy working in a variety of media, but drawing is my favourite and I incorporate drawing into my mixed media work, experimenting with line and texture. My love of trees is evident in my detailed pen drawings.

I am a member of the Society of Graphic Fine Arts and a member of the Dorking Group of Artists.

In 2018 and 2019 I was selected for the annual Society of Women Artists open exhibition, as well as the Society of Graphic Fine Arts’ Open exhibition in the Menier Gallery and Mall Galleries since 2014.

I was awarded the SGFA Associate’s Award in both the Draw18 and Draw 19 exhibition.
